As expected, it wasn’t just as easy as clicking a button and be done.
There were a few issues to figure out at first, and then came a stuck terminal window with no updates as to the progress.
Digging a little deeper and tweaking a few things, the upgrade seemed to work.
At the time of writing, we are now officially using the latest MariaDB. I have restarted the server as well, so see if it would try to stab us in the back after that. But so far so good.
Time to test a few things on the site, to see if it is working as intended.
Preliminary tests have been carried out and it seems good to go. The forums are now open to members once again.
